Peachester Apiary
APIARY to PANTRY
Only Our Bees Only Our Honey
Location: Peachester
Food Miles: 5km from our Honey House
Hives: 20
Main Forage:
The 3km radius / 3000 hectares foraged by our bees from our Peachester apiary.
In the foothills, at the southern end of the Blackall Range, wedged between the Crohamhurst Conservation Park and the Crohamhurst State Forest, is our Peachester apiary.
Our bees enjoy a different floral resource at a slightly lower altitude than most of our apiary sites. The Pink Ash (Alphitonia petriei) blossoms profusely in early spring, providing a significant nectar flow. In addition, the adjacent nature reserves abound, with towering eucalypts providing regular nectar flows.
