Food Miles: 3km from our Honey House

The 3km radius / 3000 hectares foraged by our bees from our North Maleny Macadamia Farm apiary.

Nestled in the heart of a macadamia nut orchard is our North Maleny apiary. Because the orchard is no longer operational, it is entirely pesticide-free and provides important forage for our bees.

Our bees forage the dense sclerophyll and rainforests to the foreshore of Baroon Pocket Dam to the north. In addition, the Obi Obi creek is lined with a wide variety of subtropical rainforest species providing year-round forage to the East.
